 Sono state diramate in questi giorni le nomination per i Grammy Awards, i principali riconoscimenti dell'industria musicale che verranno assegnati l'8 febbraio del 2006. In testa, per numero di candidature, Mariah Carey, candidata al premio nelle tre categorie principali (singolo, album e canzone dell'anno) e in altre 5 categorie più specifiche...
 Se la Carey è, insomma, la favorita, non si può certo dire che sia andata male neppure a John Legend, vera sorprera dell'anno con la sua 'Ordinary people', a Kanye West, a Gwen Stefani e agli U2, tutti ben piazzati nelle varie cinquine da cui verranno scelti i vincitori.
